A Glasgow nightclub has installed a two-way mirror which allows male revellers in private booths to spy on unsuspecting women as they visit the toilet! With no notification or signage anywhere in the venue many female club goers have been left feeling embarrassed and used. Although they do briefly show the mirrors in a promo video, the club has been quickly deleting comments and posts on their social media from club goers trying to alert others to the situation. This is pretty much illegal and hugley violates privacy. Thank you The Shimmy Club for giving us a shiny, new, creative and cool take on objectification.

i’m never leaving my house again, this world is just too fucked up.

WHAT!?

gross gross gross gross gross

Good morning disgusting.

Remember ladies:

  • “No space, leave the place” (fingernail test)
  • A two way mirror must be set INTO the wall, not placed on top of it.
  • If you rap/knock against the mirror, one installed onto a wall (a normal mirror) will make a dull sound, because there’s something behind it. A two-way will have more reverberation.
  • Use the flashlight on your phone to shine on the mirror, if it’s a two-way, you’ll be able to see into the other room.
  • You can also shield your eyes and see in if you lean up against the glass.
  • The room being viewed will have to be brightly lit (10x brighter than the room looking in), so if you’re in a typical dimly lit club bathroom, you’re ok.

boosting the fuck out of this

also this is their not even apology. idk what to call it.

Jason Isaacs: I remember my very first day, I improvised a line. I had my first day, probably my first shot, I had to kind of flounce out of a room when Dumbledore, played by the late, great Richard Harris, put me in my place, and there was no line written, no exit line. And I’d been humiliated, and my plan had come to nothing. And I said to Chris Columbus, “Don’t you think there should be a line?” And he said, “Well, say something. Say whatever you like.” So we did another take, and I hadn’t told anyone what I was going to do. And as I turned to leave, I looked at Daniel, and I said, “Let us hope Mr. Potter will always be around to save the day.” And then Daniel, who was all of 12, stepped right up to me, looked me right in the eye, and said “Don’t worry. I will be.” A chill went down my spine. And as he did it, I thought, “Christ, this kid is good.”

This is the part in the Harry Potter issue of Entertainment Weekly, when Jason tells this story, that I started to cry.

One of the most iconic lines in the whole of the series was improvised. By a 12-year-old boy.

Holy Shit. This is why I love Daniel and think he’s the most brilliant actor of our time.

can somebody who’s a lot deeper and more creative than I figure out what happened on Charlotte’s birthday that HeR didn’t want to blatantly explain?

According to clara it was just a joke. She knew about the will change and went to confront charlotte and she did. She wanted to just set a small fire but it got out of hand (it is a very old building; lots of dry wood). But of course this is what clara told us so its possible its all lies. Im almost certain that charlotte discovered who claras father really was (with all those secret codes she was certainly smart enough to figure it out and ssomething did have her worried about claras reaction - could be more than just the will) and it was such a scandel (lower class, incest, a criminal, take your pick) that clara snapped. Thats why she set the fire. Not as a joke but to destroy the secret with the only other person who knew. But thats just speculation

OHH MY GOD I’M LIKE LEGIT CRYING BECAUSE I THINK I FIGURED IT OUT BUT IT’S REALLY TWISTED

Found this (something I couldn’t reblog).

My thoughts?………*In Kronk’s voice* Rrrriiiiiggghhtttt….

Clearly, this person still misunderstands. I purchased the game with my own money. I am a full-time student working part time, yet I was still able to purchase the game (plus shipping) by myself. Why? Because I knew the game was coming out, and I saved for it. $20 is a lot when you have to buy, like groceries, gas, bills, and medical supplies (diabetes supplies, in my case), but it really isn’t all that much.

This still does not justify pirating a video game in any case. Pirating video games is much, much different from pirating music and movies. Why? Because gaming companies are completely different from film studios and record companies.

Really, I hope this girl can’t find a working torrent.

If anything, do it for Her Interactive! If you love the games, you gotta stay true to the company!

I think I was one of the people who called this person out for trying to find a torrent(if this is who I think it is) and I just want to put this disclaimer out there:

I have paid for most of my games with my own money. I -think- I may have received 3-4 as birthday or Christmas gifts. But if that doesn’t convince you, also remember that I am the person who sold CAR on eBay after thinking I wouldn’t need it again, then, after realizing my mistake, bought it from someone else for a higher price so I could replay it.

To make the generalization that everyone who is against stealing is a. a teen and b. “have mommy and daddy buy the games for them” is just illogical and weak. Besides, you can’t justify your actions based on who is making an argument against it. If an axe murderer says murder is wrong, even if they’re a hypocrite, it doesn’t mean their point still can’t be logical.

It doesn’t matter who you are: taking someone’s property(whether it be physical, digital, or intellectual) without their permission is the dictionary definition of stealing.

I think one of my biggest issues with the whole thing is that HER is a small company, they actually suffer when people don’t fork over $20 for the game. If you like these games then you should suck it up and support them or hold off on buying it… it’s not THAT big of a deal to have to wait to afford it if it keeps HER in business.

I was standing in the bathroom with my 8-year-old niece and she saw me adjusting my top and said, completely serious and curious,

“Why do you want to look good?”

it took me aback for a moment.

“Sometimes because I want to. Sometimes because I feel like I should.”

“That’s silly. See, I have sap all over my hands?” she showed me her hands, “and see I don’t even care! Because it doesn’t matter. Sap happens.”
